How do you get into perfect game tournaments? ›

Top Prospect Games: these events are typically held on college campuses or high-profile venues and are invite only. Players who are nationally ranked, have made a top prospect list at a prior showcase or an All-Tournament team at a tournament are considered by our staff.

Definitely not, although a huge percentage (well over 90 percent) of the top players in the country attend multiple Perfect Game showcases and tournaments.

Generally, yes. These are pay-to-play showcases where you will get invited if you have the means or the connection. The draw is that “big-time” prospects will be there, and PG does a good job of getting some to attend and play. Depending on the showcase type, PG does try and require some qualifications to attend.

What is evaluated at a Perfect Game Showcase? The most important things to evaluate on any player are their physical tools. For a position player, that is their hitting ability, fielding ability, speed/range, power potential, arm strength, and quantitiave measures of the speed, power, and quickness of a player's swing.

Rated PG: Parental guidance suggested – Some material may not be suitable for children. Rated PG-13: Parents strongly cautioned – Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13. Rated R: Restricted – Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian. Rated NC-17: No children under 17 admitted.

Players born on/after May 1, 2010 are eligible. ONLY TWO school grade exemptions per team will be allowed for players who are in the 7th grade who turn 14 years old before May 1st, 2024. However, those players must be born on/after January 1, 2010 to be eligible. Players born on/after May 1, 2011 are eligible.
